What to do with the creases: when art teaches an important life lesson

What do we do when things don't turn out the way we hoped-for a print, or for a life? This print imprinted more on me this time...

It began on a trip to Tenerife, sketching Teide while caring for my mum-between her games and animal park visits. When I finally printed it last week, two deep creases marked the paper. Not good enough to sell... but somehow, they felt like part of the story.

Just like life, this volcano is folded. Scarred.

Beautiful in its imperfection.

I'm learning not to cut out the creases, but to fold them in. To see what else they can become.

Maybe this isn't about salvaging something ruined-maybe it's about creating something more, letting it bloom into something new.

Re-making "The Folding Volcano."

What do you do with your creases?
